Hi

i am a newbie to animation and still currently studying it. besides disney styple animation , which i love alot, but i am also loved japanese animation especially those mecha type e.g. Patlabor, Gundam etc. Or maybe those mechanical animation e.g. fighter plane, how is the proportion is maintained? reason being that they are more structured.
How is the animation principles are applied to them?

i have tried to find links or resources but realized i can't find them. could anyone shared with me on this? or event your own views, how this are made possible? thanks
