Hi all,

I am new to animation but I am a decent artist. I do have certain talent. Anyways, I want to start working on animation and build up a youitube channel focusing on 2D animation (eventually). I need your help. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I focus on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate and After Effects. More convenient for me.

1. Should I use Adobe Illustrator for drawing or Photoshop? I know the former is vector based and I was thinking drawing in illustrator and then transfering to photoshop for colour.

2. Which ones is better for animation? 2D? I thought maybe I don't have to use both if each does the same thing. I heard after effects is better.

3. You can also draw on animate and after effects. If so, does it mean I do not have to use photoshop or illustrator anymore?

4. Finally, I was thinking of this sequence. Draw everything in illustrator, colour in photoshop, animate in Adobe Animate and finally add effects (like fire etc.) in after effects. Do you think this is viable?

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
