Hi
Im a total beginner as Ive only just become interested in creating animation so please forgive me if my questions seem stupid but Im trying to learn as much as possible.

At the moment I have watched some videos about basic 2D animation and Id like to know the process a bit more as Im not very clear. I have a few questions about traditional/photoshop:

Say I have a 10 second 25 fps animation of a person walking. Do I make a new drawing for every single frame? I have noticed that unless I do a drawing on each frame it looks kind of choppy.

If you have to keep drawing the same thing over but with slight changes how do they make animations that look smooth? Wouldnt the slight changes be noticeable?

This video explains it:

Hope it helps. The smoothest action will always be on 1's. Quicker action is usually better on 2's
