The long-awaited Ducktales Volume 4 will soon be released on DVD! It will be the final 25 episodes of the series. There were a total of 100 episodes, and the previous three volumes contained the first 75 episodes. For those of you who are fans of the original Ducktales, this is gold! I for one can’t wait to get this box set from one of the greatest cartoons ever created. There is no release date set in stone yet, but from the internet grumblings, it sounds like by the end of this month (September 2018). We will update this page when we have more information.

In 2009, Lavalle started learning hand drawn animation from Don Bluth in his animation classes, as well as attending his Masterclasses in Arizona. He has also personally studied animation and visual effects from Veteran Disney animators in Orlando, FL.

Lavalle is widely known in the animation industry as the creator of the website. I wonder if this means that the Disney Movie Club is also going to complete “Chip n Dale’s Rescue Rangers” (one volume left) as well as “Darkwing Duck” (I assume two volumes).

Disney Movie Club also needs to release Jungle Cubs: The Complete Series (21 episodes total), to complete the DVD collection that started with The Jungle Book 2 (2003) and then The Jungle Book 1: 40th Anniversary Platinum Edition 2-Disc DVD set (2007). Jungle Cubs was my absolute favorite animated series as a kid, and I’ve been waiting forever to finally be able to own the series on DVD! To anyone who never got the chance to see it, Jungle Cubs is very sweet, innocent and heartwarming to watch – emotionally, it was pretty much “The Backyardigans” of its’ day. I know I’ve read that Jungle Cubs is a much lesser known show than the other Disney Afternoon shows, but I still hold out hope that Disney Movie Club will finally one day surprise the world and release it at last. My Disney DVD collection will never be complete without it!!!
