From the Publisher:
Learn from the men who changed animation forever.
Walt Disney’s team of core animators, who he affectionately call his “Nine Old Men,” were known for creating Disney’s most famous works, as well as refining the 12 basic principles of animation. Follow master animator and Disney legend Andreas Deja as he takes you through the minds and works of these notable animators. An apprentice to the Nine Old Men himself, Deja gives special attention to each animator and provides a thoughtful analysis on their techniques that include figure drawing, acting, story structure, and execution. The in-depth analysis of each animator’s work will allow you to refine your approach to character animation. Rare sequential drawings from the Disney archives also give you unprecedented access and insight into the most creative minds that changed the course of animation.

This book has already found a place in my library. Not only a fantastic resource but also a great read and historic document! In a few generations- much of this info could have been lost!
Hello Andreas,
This year at SIGGRAPH2016 my partner and I briefly discussed with you the possibility of having you help introduce to the world our new 3D mouse with a novel “Andreas Deja” interactive video game. On Friday this week we will present our Business Plan to some eager investors and we wish to include a sketch from the book you signed for us in Anaheim during SIGGRAPH. We are seeking your permission to use this sketch and we wish to discuss our desire to have you help introduce our novel 3D mouse to the world. Please contact me today or tomorrow.
With warmest regards, Bill Delaney +1 408 510 8263.
